Hyundai Motor America Reports Record-Breaking July 2026 Sales
Hybrids drove the gain as six models set July records and Kia said it was on track for a fourth straight annual sales record.
- On Saturday, Kia America announced record July sales of 75,857 units, a 7 percent increase over the same period last year and the best July performance in company history.
- With 506,584 units sold through July, Kia maintains a 4 percent year-over-year increase, keeping the company on track to set its fourth consecutive annual sales record.
- Hybrid models fueled the growth, increasing 108 percent year-over-year, while the Sportage, Carnival, Telluride, Seltos, and K4 achieved their best-ever July sales results.
- Eric Watson, vice president of sales operations at Kia America, attributed the brand's momentum to its diverse product lineup. The company expects continued growth with the all-electric EV3 launch later this year.
- Beyond sales, Kia America and its retailers raised more than $4.7 million in 2025 through the "Accelerate the Good" Dealer Match program, supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and No Kid Hungry.
