Key figure in the First Nations Child Welfare file at Canadian Human Rights Tribunal resigns

One of the lawyers overseeing the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal panel on First Nations child welfare has resigned. Edward Lustig was part of the panel that released a landmark decision on Jan. 26, 2016 that ruled that Canada had discriminated against First Nations children on reserve by not properly funding the agencies charged with helping them.
