Congress candidate Priyanka Gandhi Vadra secured a comfortable lead in her maiden electoral contest in the Indian state of Kerala's Wayanad Lok Sabha seat by over 300,000 votes. 

Priyanka has so far gained 481689 votes and is ahead by a margin of almost 319199 votes.

Communist Party of India (CPI) candidate Sathyan Mokeri is currently in the second position, whereas Navya Haridas from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is in the third.
