Kenora, Ont., hospital refers patients to Manitoba, regional sites due to building flood

Restoration efforts continue at Lake of the Woods District Hospital (LWDH) in Kenora, Ont., following last month’s building flood. The flood, which occurred early in the morning May 6, was caused by a break in a one-inch pipe in a fourth-floor washroom. In an update issued Friday, LWDH said “several solutions have been implemented to support the continued delivery of surgical services.”
