Kenora cleared to expropriate historic Kenricia Hotel

The City of Kenora is expropriating the historic Kenricia Hotel, after the Ontario Land Tribunal ruled he city is within its rights to take over the building

City proceeding with hotel expropriation after tribunal ruling

The Ontario Land Tribunal ruled in April that Kenora is entitled to pursue the forced seizure of the Kenricia Hotel property in order to revitalize the historical site.
