The President of the Republic, Keiko Fujimori, reported that the Executive is assessing the temporary suspension of Pisco airport operations following the plane crash in Vista Alegre district, Nasca province. She also regretted the deaths of the 13 people.
The president reported that the Executive coordinates with Foreign Ministry the communication to the consulates of the deceased foreigners. In addition, she asked to wait for the results of the investigations before making decisions.
Aerodiana aircraft departed from San Andrés airport in Pisco. Before the flight, the foreigners had made a tour of waves Ballestas islands.
