The president of the republic, Keiko Fujimori, today led the start of the white march of the Shore Power system and the first connection of a ship in the South Pier of the port of Callao, an important advance for the Peruvian harbour system that incorporates clean technology and will allow to reduce the environmental impact of the marine operations.
Keiko Fujimori inaugurated the Shore Power system on August 12 at the South Callao Pier, which allows electricity to be supplied to berthed ships.
