DALLAS COUNTY, TEXAS, JUL 21 – Jerry Jones questioned Micah Parsons' durability during contract talks, citing injuries despite Parsons starting all 63 games of his career and recording 52.5 sacks, sources say.
- At Oxnard, California training camp on Monday, Jones criticized his own stars, saying `Just because we sign doesn't mean we're going to have him`, and he also took a shot at Dak Prescott's availability after his 2024 extension.
- As Parsons enters the final year of his $40 million rookie deal, the Cowboys remain in long-term extension talks, though Jones overstated his missed games last season by claiming six when he missed four.
- Following Jones's remarks, Parsons reposted Watt's social media message and on Tuesday said he was paying no mind to the rest of the edge rushers.
