Security stepped up for Kedarnath Yatra phase 2; route near Chirbasa Helipad remain blocked
Security arrangements are being enhanced for the Kedarnath Dham Yatra's second phase. Over fourteen lakh pilgrims have already visited Kedarnath Dham this season. The Kedarnath route remains blocked due to falling debris and continuous rain. Pilgrims are currently stopped at Sonprayag and Gaurikund for their safety. Authorities advise against attempting the trek until the route is cleared.
