Kazakhstan has improved its ranking in the Henley Passport Index, the global ranking of countries ranked by the travel freedom enjoyed by ordinary national passport holders. The country rose three places, rising to 63rd out of a total of 199. This improvement reflects the expansion of diplomatic ties. Kazakhstani passport holders can now enter 79 countries without a visa.
