Kazakhstan President Tokayev Arrives in Pakistan on First State Visit
President Tokayev will receive Pakistan's highest civilian award and finalize eight education cooperation agreements during the visit, aiming to expand trade and regional connectivity.
- On Tuesday, Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Pakistan and was received at Rawalpindi’s Nur Khan Base by President Zardari, Prime Minister Sharif, and Deputy Dar.
- The Foreign Office said the visit provides Islamabad and Astana an opportunity to review bilateral relations and explore cooperation in trade, logistics, regional connectivity and people-to-people contacts.
