Greg Wilson/Anderson ObserverKayakers from across the Southeast were at Dolly Cooper Park in Powdersville on Saturday for the 15th Annual Saluda River.Around 200 kayaks were in the water to paddle the 9-mile stretch of the Saluda River, which takes approximately 3-5 hours, and debarks in Piedmont. Proceeds from the event support the Area 14 Anderson Special Olympics.
