The president of Chile, José Antonio Kast, announced on Wednesday a reform of the capital market that, among other axes, contemplates the creation of a voluntary savings fund to access the first housing.
The President, together with the Minister of Finance, Jorge Quiroz, officialized the issues that come with the project, including the creation of a National Housing Fund, called Fonavi. There will also be a state subsidy for those who save for the foot of a house.
