KC Current Trade for Penelope Hocking from Bay FC

On Wednesday, the Kansas City Current announced their roster construction ahead of the 2026 NWSL season which begins this weekend. Kansas City Current acquire Penelope Hocking from Bay FC for $350,000 in transfer funds

The Kansas City Current have acquired forward Penelope Hocking from Bay FC in exchange for $350,000 intra-league transfer funds, the clubs announced Wednesday.  Hocking was Bay FC’s lead scorer during the 2025 National Women’s Soccer League season with six goals.
