Kandiyohi County Board splits 3-2 to become one of dozen shotgun-only counties

WILLMAR — The Kandiyohi County Board of Commissioners voted Tuesday to ban the use of rifles for deer hunting within the county. Commissioners voted 3-2 to approve the ordinance making the county a shotgun use area for firearm deer hunting.
