Kandiyohi County approves $2.5 million land purchase

WILLMAR — The Kandiyohi County Board approved the purchase of a plot of land south of the Kandiyohi County Landfill in rural New London. The vote Tuesday was 3-1 in favor with one abstaining. County ownership of the land will facilitate greater monitoring of underground chemicals spreading from the landfill.
