Authorities report that at approximately 11:38 p.m., a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling southbound on I-79 near the 9-mile marker when it exited the roadway and entered a construction zone. The Silverado struck the rear of a parked dump truck, ejecting the driver, identified as 47-year-old Thomas Edward Wines, of Charleston. #KanawhaCounty #WOAY
