The highest temperatures were recorded in the Peloponnese today. The highest was in Kranidi 43.4 degrees, in Agioi Theodoroi the mercury showed 42.7 and in Sparta 42.4. Argolida, Lakonia, Messinia, and even coastal areas recorded high temperatures. It is characteristic that in Kalamata at 6 pm the temperature was 38 degrees Celsius and at 9 pm 33 degrees Celsius.
