The KAC did justice to its favourite role in the Kärntner ice hockey derby against the VSV. On Friday, after a late goal in Villach, the ICE-Liga's strong leader won 3:2 and thus strengthened the top position. For the Villacher, however, it set the next defeat. In duels of the top six, the second-placed Graz99ers beat the HSB Südtirol at home 3:2 after an extension. The third Red Bull Salzburg won against Olimpija Ljubljana at home 5:1.
