About 100 people mobilized this Monday, March 30 in support of the 6 recipients of the RSA and the CGT who quoted the president of the departmental council of Finistère, Maël de Calan, to appear before the Correctional Court of Brest for "harassment by instigation" as part of the checks carried out with the beneficiaries of the RSA.
Maël de Calan, president of the Finistère department, is summoned to appear before the Brest Correctional Court on Monday 30 March 2026. The CGT and six beneficiaries of the RSA denounce "unfair" checks. This is the first time that an elected person's criminal responsibility is challenged under his public policy.
