- During the May 2023 Meitei–Kuki clashes, she was abducted near an ATM on May 15, 2023 amid ethnic violence in Manipur that left over 260 dead and more than 60,000 displaced.
- Four armed men seized her, forced her into a purple Maruti Swift and white Bolero, assaulted her at multiple locations, and after escaping by hiding under vegetables, the autorickshaw driver took her to Kangpokpi hospital.
