- Comfort Emmanson was discharged by an Ikeja Magistrate Court after the prosecution withdrew five charges against her for unruly behavior on an Ibom Air flight.
- Minister Festus Keyamo mentioned that consultations between stakeholders led to resolving the case and Ibom Air's decision to drop its complaint.
- Keyamo also requested the Airline Operators of Nigeria to lift the lifetime flying ban on Emmanson, which they agreed to do.
