- President Tinubu commended the National Assembly for swift passage, describing it as evidence of cooperation between the Executive and the Legislature, while Bamidele clarified the extension complies with the Fiscal Responsibility Act.
- Despite this fourth adjustment for the 2025 budget, the administration maintains Tinubu's earlier pledge to streamline the budgeting system in Nigeria and eliminate overlapping fiscal cycles.
