On Tuesday, Oakland County task force investigators arrested 45 individuals in a human trafficking sting, resulting in 57 felonies and 19 misdemeanors targeting both sex buyers and traffickers.

Separately, Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister and Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced 'Operation Relentless Summer' on Wednesday, which resulted in 116 arrests and the recovery of five human trafficking victims.
Authorities arrested trafficker Frank Amiekumo, 35, who allegedly forced victims into commercial sex acts, and detention officer Emmanuel Boamah for soliciting prostitution after contacting undercover detectives online.
Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier urged parents to monitor children's online interactions, warning that traffickers deploy addictive algorithms to expose minors to predators posing as peers.
