- Parents met with the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, in Bodija, Ibadan, on Saturday to seek intervention, accompanied by Oyo State Commissioner of Police Olugbenga Abimbola and the Aseyin of Iseyinland, Oba Sefiu Adeyeri.
- The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, deployed Deputy Inspector-General of Police Shehu Nadada to Imo State to coordinate rescue efforts, while Imo State Commissioner of Police Audu Garba Bosso confirmed operatives located the suspected camp using drones.
- Rescue operations face delays as intelligence indicates the camp is planted with improvised explosive devices, though Police officials maintain ongoing efforts to secure the unharmed release of the abducted graduates.
