Jurors convict man of assault, but acquit him on attempted murder charge in Berthoud incident

Jurors found a Florida man guilty of first-degree assault and felony menacing this week in connection with an incident in Berthoud in February of 2024. After a trial in 8th Judicial District Court in Fort Collins, Robert Johnson, 21, was convicted of assault and menacing, both felonies, as well as misdemeanor assault and obstructing telephone service.
