Nearly 7,000 wild animals in difficulty, wounded or orphaned, have been taken care of by the Athenas centre since the beginning of the year. This association based in the Jura can count on the involvement of more than 300 volunteers who transport animals in distress to the centre. Once treated, they are released into the natural environment.
