Casa France, which employs nearly 700 people in France, is moving towards judicial liquidation.


The measure concerns all the stores, 143 in France, announced the company on Wednesday 11 June, after the bankruptcy of the Belgian branch which ensured the logistics of the group.
On Wednesday, Casa France announced that it had been put into judicial liquidation by the Bobigny Commercial Court. The measure concerns the 143 furniture stores located in France. The company employs 577 people in CDI and about 100 in CDD. - Casa: the furniture brand placed in judicial liquidation, 700 employees concerned (Conso and trends).
The Bobigny Commercial Court examined the takeover bids and issued its decision on 27 June. The company considered that they "could be deemed inadmissible" and lead to its liquidation.
In the absence of an offer to take over deemed admissible, the brand of furniture stores should close all of its stores in France, announced the sign on Wednesday. The court will issue its decision on 27 June.
"This measure concerns all stores", 143 in France, and the "support functions of the brand in France", the company said.
