The province of South Holland is not allowed to shoot the fallow deer in the Hoeksche Waard. The court has ruled again that the justification for killing the entire population is insufficient. Five years ago, the judge also blocked the shooting of the animals in the rural area.
Fallow deer in the Hoeksche Waard may no longer be shot.
