Juan Valle was one of the greatest poets of Guanajuatenses, the also called “Tirteo de la Libertad” was born in the city of Guanajuato on July 4, 1838. By 1860 he was considered one of the best writers of poetry, getting to publish his work in important newspapers of the country. He was blinded at the age of 5, his brother read to the classics, the Bible, the Spanish poets of the sixteenth century, as well as to the contemporary national authors…
