The municipalities of Zumarraga and Urretxu have awarded the prizes of the painting competition. The first prize has been won by the beasaindarra Juan Narbarte. This painter died on the same day in which he presented to the competition the work that has ultimately been won: on September 14th. At the award ceremony his brothers Xabier and Ramoni and his nieces Oihana and Isabel have attended. After the act, his brother has sung two bersos.
