Johnstown Names New Fire Chief And Assistant
The Johnstown Fire Department has named a new chief and assistant chief. Yesterday, before city officials and family member, Jim McCann, who has been with the department since 2004, was named as the new fire chief. Stepping into McCann’s former role as assistant chief was Todd Fetchko, who was with the Windber Fire Department for 18 years before joining Johnstown in 2007. Former Johnstown Fire Chief Bob Statler retired at the end of May.
