The biggest success of French skiing, Courchevel's athlete suffered from his lack of results during the winter in giant slalom, after two injury-ridden seasons. At 34, his future on the circuit is still outstanding.
The French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) announced on Monday 26 January a new list of 35 tricolor athletes selected for the Milan-Cortina Games. Originally from Epernay, Maxence Muzaton, third of the Kitzbühel downhill on Saturday 24 January, will participate in its third Olympic Games.
