France's biggest Alpine ski list is not among the seven Frenchmen chosen for the Italian Games, who dreamed of a final participation after two winters marked by serious injuries at the age of 34.
The biggest success of French skiing, Courchevel's athlete suffered from his lack of results during the winter in giant slalom, after two injury-ridden seasons. At 34, his future on the circuit is still outstanding.
The French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) announced on Monday 26 January a new list of 35 tricolor athletes selected for the Milan-Cortina Games. Originally from Epernay, Maxence Muzaton, third of the Kitzbühel downhill on Saturday 24 January, will participate in its third Olympic Games.
