Jeremy Clarkson's Hawkstone Farmers Choir Wins Britain's Got Talent
The 34-strong choir won after more than 1 million public votes and will donate part of its prize to mental health charities.
On Saturday, May 30, 2026, the Hawkstone Farmers Choir won Britain Got Talent's 19th series after more than 1 million viewer votes during the live final.
Though originally formed for Jeremy Clarkson's beer advertisement campaign, the choir evolved into a vital support network addressing mental health struggles and isolation within the farming community.
The choir's original song performance earned a standing ovation; judge Simon Cowell called it "absolutely stunning" and "joyous," securing the group £250,000 and a Royal Variety Performance slot.
Choir member Katryna Shell dedicated the victory to farmers, stating: "This is for all the farmers out there, for anybody that's struggling." Clarkson applauded emotionally from the audience.
As the first choir to win Britain Got Talent, the group joins former champions Paul Potts and Harry Moulding as the show approaches its 20th anniversary in 2027.
