‘Jeopardy!’: Two Failed Daily Doubles Leads to Opponent’s Runaway Win
Two missed Daily Doubles and risky wagers helped Tristan Williams build a runaway lead and secure his fourth straight win.
On the latest episode of Jeopardy, Williams defeated Steve Greene, a college professor, and Jessica Doverspike, a marriage and family therapist, to secure his fourth consecutive victory.
Williams dominated from the start, maintaining the lead with $3,200 throughout the first 15 clues and building $19,100 by the end of Double Jeopardy.
Greene and Doverspike struggled after missing critical Daily Double opportunities; Williams capitalized on their errors, with Doverspike dropping to $0 by Final Jeopardy.
This victory brought Williams' four-day total to $76,199, establishing him as a dominant player in the current Jeopardy season.
Williams will return on Tuesday to compete in his fifth game, aiming to secure a guaranteed spot in the Tournament of Champions.
