Peter McFerrin extended his Jeopardy winning streak on June 2, bringing his two-day total to $68,198 and securing a return appearance for his third game.
McFerrin shares history with Jeopardy icons, having played on a high school Scholastic Bowl team with Yogesh Raut and a youth softball team in Illinois with James Holzhauer when both were 10-years-old.
Finding Daily Doubles on clues 10 and 26, McFerrin answered "What is the Coriolis effect?" to reach $12,000, then ended Double Jeopardy with $32,400.
Facing Alex Reyes and Savannah Madeira in Final Jeopardy's 20th Century Novels category, McFerrin wagered $16,799 to finish with $49,199.
McFerrin will return to the Jeopardy stage on Wednesday to play his third consecutive game, continuing his pursuit of a longer winning streak.
