Jehovah’s Witnesses convention returns to Penticton after 7 years away on May 29-31

The free three-day program will draw about 2,500 attendees and has booked more than 200 hotel rooms, organizers said.

For the first time in seven years, the annual Jehovah’s Witnesses convention will be returning to Penticton’s South Okanagan Events Centre. The convention spent five years in the city between 2013 and 2018, before moving to other communities. “We love Penticton and we’re very pleased to be back,” the organization said. “We have enjoyed Penticton’s hospitality several times over the past few decades, going back to the Peach Bowl in the 1980s.” RE…
