From Tribune Staff Reports BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — A Jefferson County man has been sentenced to federal prison for child sexual exploitation crimes, U.S. Attorney Prim F. Escalona announced. Benjamin Ross Norris, 44, of Pinson, Alabama, received a sentence of 240 months in prison, followed by life on supervised release, for transporting and possessing child pornography.
