JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ill., (KBSI) — Law enforcement agencies conducted compliance checks on registered sex offenders and violent offenders against youth in Jefferson County on July 18. Law Enforcement Conducts Countywide Sex Offender Compliance Sweep

MT. VERNON – Members of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Mt. Vernon Police Department, Illinois State Police and United States Marshals recently completed Registered Sex Offender and Violent Offender Against Youth compliance checks throughout the county.   Out of 50 registered offenders that were checked, 31 were found to be in compliance.
