COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) A Jefferson City woman was charged with a pair of felonies on Thursday in Cole County after she allegedly stole $52,494.91 from a nursing home resident for nearly two years. Amy Shoup was charged with financially exploiting an elderly person and misappropriating funds of an elderly nursing home resident. A warrant was issued and a $50,000 bond was set on Thursday.
