Look: Jeff Goldblum to Host S2 Premiere of 'Saturday Night Live U.K.'
Jeff Goldblum will host the season opener as the six-episode run returns with all 11 cast members and a new British take on Weekend Update.
- On September 12, American actor Jeff Goldblum will host the season two premiere of Saturday Night Live U.K. on Sky and NOW, joined by Irish singer-songwriter CMAT as musical guest.
- Following a successful inaugural run this spring, the sketch show returns with all 11 original cast members, including Hammed Animashaun and Emma Sidi, for six episodes in 2026.
- Goldblum hosted the American iteration of SNL in 1993 and 1997, making him experienced with the format. CMAT, real name Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson, is a Brit Award nominee promoting her album Euro-Country.
- Produced by Universal Television Alternative Studio and Broadway Video, the show will broadcast live from Television Centre in west London. Six episodes are planned through October 24, with additional shows scheduled for early 2027.
- Sky unscripted chief Philip Edgar-Jones suggested the remake could continue beyond season two. After the October 24 finale, the series will take a break before returning with additional episodes in early 2027.
