The streamers "Naruto" and "Safine" were placed in police custody for violence, following an investigation by the Nice Public Prosecutor's Office. Their detention could last 48 hours.
The two streamers linked to Jean Pormanove, who died in August after 12 days of humiliating live on Kick, are targeted for multiple leaders, including violence against young teenagers, abuse of weakness and dissemination of violent images, announced on Tuesday 27 January the prosecution of Nice.
The two streamers, Naruto and Safine, who inflicted physical and psychological violence on Jean Pormanove were placed in police custody in Nice. It is not part of the death of Jean Pormanove, but part of an investigation opened in 2024 for "violence in assembly", "violence in assembly on minors" and "abuse of weakness".
The court had opened an investigation after video footage showing Raphaël Graven (his real name) being insulted, beaten, pulled his hair and threatened during live performances on the Kick platform.
