The Andhra Pradesh government is moving two trained kumki elephants, Jayant and Abhimanyu, from Palamaneru Camp to Guchimi Camp to prevent human-elephant conflict in border villages of Parvathipuram Manyam district. Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan issued this order, as herds of wild elephants from Odisha continue to intrude into villages.
