Yamamoto leads men's Olympic nordic combined
PREDAZZO, Italy: Japan’s Ryota Yamamoto holds an eight-second lead over Johannes Lamparter going into the cross-country ski, after posting the best score in the ski jump of the men’s nordic combined event at the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics on Tuesday.
After the Nordic combined large jump section, Japan's Ryota Yamamoto is in first place. Austria's Johannes Lamparter is in second place, and Norway's Andreas Skoglund is in third place. Slovenian combined skiers Vid Vrhovnik and Gašper Brecl finished in 20th place and 25th place, respectively. In the afternoon, they will compete in the 10-kilometer cross-country section.
Tuesday's day could allow the French biathletes to win a new medal at the Milan Olympics, especially with the men's relay of the biathlon. The Ice Hockey Blues will try to qualify for the quarterfinals against Germany.
