Japanese airline Japan Airlines (JAL) wants to offer cargo transportation to the moon from 2028. In the new project, it plans to transport objects of cultural value that are threatened with extinction on Earth due to climate change, armed conflicts or natural disasters. If the plan goes ahead, JAL will become the first airline in the world to transport cargo to the moon, Kyodo and The Japan News reported.
