Jane Ring, former ETHS employee and devoted Francophile, dies at 81

Jane Ellen Ronsheim Ring, 81, of Evanston, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2025. Jane was born in 1944 to the late Julian and Sally B. Ronsheim, and grew up in Long Island. She earned a BA from Brown University and a MA from Columbia University both in French, reflecting her lifelong love of the French language.
