This shows once again, that NHAI or the Ministry of Road Transport has no confidence inspiring system to firstly ensure that projects have adequate drainage component so that not only the road sustains but it does not increase the disaster potential of the area. A credible Environmental Impact Assessment and Environment Management are key components for this, but the concerned authorities seems to have very little concern about this.
