James Gunn's DCU Officially Replaces David Corenswet as Superman
James Gunn said the sequel is now shooting, with David Corenswet back as Superman and Lex Luthor joining him against Brainiac.
- On Monday, Director James Gunn announced production for 'Superman: Man of Tomorrow' began, sharing a set photo featuring a chess board and a Van Kull Prison badge for Alexander Joseph Luthor.
- David Corenswet returns as the Man of Steel, teaming up with Nicholas Hoult's Lex Luthor to face Brainiac, with Gunn describing it as "as much a Lex movie as it is a Superman movie."
- Adria Arjona recently joined the cast as Maxima, alongside ensemble stars Rachel Brosnahan and Edi Gathegi, expanding the interconnected DCU franchise that Gunn and Peter Safran launched last year.
