Jalen Brunson NBA Finals Jersey Sells for More than $1M at Auction
The Nike Association Edition jersey was worn in Brunson’s 30-point Game 1 win and sold alongside other Knicks and Spurs Finals memorabilia.
On Wednesday, New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson's jersey worn during Game 1 of the 2026 NBA Finals sold at Sotheby for $1,024,000 after a 70-bid war, setting a record for any Brunson collectible.
The Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs in five games to secure their first NBA title in 53 years, with Brunson earning Finals MVP honors after averaging 32.6 points per game throughout the series.
Auction items from the NBA Finals, including 15 Knicks jerseys from Game 1, netted $1,868,416 in total sales, with jerseys worn by Karl-Anthony Towns and Anunoby each selling for $256,000.
A net used in the clinching Game 5 in San Antonio sold for $179,200 at Sotheby, while collectors also acquired pieces of the Madison Square Garden floor from the championship celebration.
While the $1,024,000 price marks a significant sale, it remains below the record held by Michael Jordan's jersey from the 1998 NBA Finals, though experts expect Brunson's piece to increase in value over time.
