Apart from the series Lack of Evidence, Jake Gyllenhaal has not been lucky enough to have roles in successful works in recent years. Perhaps that will change with the main role in the film What Will Be Left Behind, which is backed by a strong creative tandem. Director M. Night Shyamalan has filmed a novel he wrote with writer Nicholas Sparks. It will be released in Czech cinemas on February 4, 2027.
